Ink & Velvet Designs was founded in 2023 by bringing together a passion for both books and design. Being an avid reader myself, I find so much joy and fulfillment in working within the publishing industry. It became clear to me that I wanted to merge my passions and create a business that would assist storytellers and story driven businesses in designing visuals that truly resonate with them. What started as a solo journey has now evolved into building an incredible team.

Melisa is our head illustrator, specializing in character art and illustrated book covers. Mel has been working with Ink & Velvet Designs for 2 years. She approaches every project with creativity, precision, and care, always aiming to bring stories and characters to life. Melisa enjoys exploring new styles and techniques, and she loves working on projects of any theme or style.
